 After a few years of developing and supporting software he created for the PALM handheld computer platform, Brian Schau has decided to concentrate on other things in the world of technology. Since I didn't want any of his wonderful creations for the PALM to disappear from the Web, I decided to take him up on his offer of transfer of ownership and technical support for his educational software.
So, after a few virtual conversations, I am now the current owner and maintainer of Brian's educational software for the PALM handheld computer. Brian is no longer hosting the software in his server. All the software he created for teachers and students who use PALM handheld computers are now hosted here on this site (www.edtechworld.com/palmprograms). His contributions to the world of education include very helpful software such as MathAce. (All titles are also available on PalmGear .) All of the educational Palm programs hosted here were the result of collaborations between Brian and Tony Vincent (and Tony's students). Long story short - Brian found the software wishlist of Tony's students in Willowdale a few years ago and worked with them to make some great applications. The apps were all tested by the students. Brian, Tony, and his students worked tirelessly -- even sending several versions back and forth in a week until the program became just they way the students wanted it. All titles by Brian Schau are free of charge. However, I’m sure he’d appreciate it if you’d drop him a note should you find the software helpful for yourself or your classes/students.
